March 8: International Women's Day

At Hôtel de Lille, every day is Women's Day.

Since its creation, we have devoted a major place to women through writers, exceptional artists linked to the history of Saint-Germain-des-Prés.

The spirit of freedom of Juliette Gréco, Françoise Sagan, Marguerite Duras, and so many others permanently reigns in the hotel with dedicated rooms, their works collections, original photos, intimate objects like Sagan's first typewriter. Through them, we want to honor and celebrate women, supporting them in their just fight for their rights. Right to equality, right to control their life and body.

It is to all women that we dedicate the Hôtel, these heroines who work for more freedom, more intelligence, and more equality. Respect for Women's rights is a vital issue for both women and men.
