Paris in the open air: June spreads its wings

And from Saint-Germain-des-Prés, our dear district both literary and lively, Paris has never seemed closer, more vibrant, more animated.
A few steps from the Hôtel de Lille, it all begins with a light crossing to the Tuileries. From June 6 to 8, the Rendez-vous aux Jardins awaits you in this historic setting, with rustling fountains, sculptures in ambush, and breathtaking perspectives. Far from being just a garden, the Tuileries becomes, for a few days, a vegetal and educational theater, where young and old alike share the same wonder. Guided tours, open-air workshops, horticultural anecdotes, and conversations about the art of landscape—all are there to reconnect you with the beauty of life in the very heart of the city.
But in June, Paris does not just blossom, it beats. It even bounces. From May 19 to June 9, all of Paris lives to the rhythm of Roland-Garros, and this year, the Concorde district becomes an XXL playground for tennis lovers. From June 4 to 9, the Tribune Concorde invites you to experience the tournament differently, with free access and in the heart of the city. Two giant screens, DJ sets throughout the day, refined food trucks, a Roland-Garros shop, and above all, the chance to see the champions present their trophies in an exquisite setting. Imagine: thrilling to a semi-final at dusk, between the fountains of the Concorde and the gildings of the Louvre, surrounded by Parisians and visitors from around the world, all driven by the same fervor. It's unique, popular, festive... and resolutely chic.
On June 11, don't miss the launch of the Carré Rive Gauche. Art, antiques, and design intermingle in a ballet of open showcases and inspiring encounters. Located a stone's throw from the Hôtel de Lille Saint Germain des Prés, this event transforms the streets of Saint-Germain into living galleries. Antique dealers, art galleries, houses of rare and lifestyle objects open their doors to you for an immersion into excellence. Discover unique pieces, engage with enthusiasts, and stroll with a glass of champagne in hand, carried by the spirit of the left bank. A Paris that collects, dreams, and cherishes the beautiful.
And because Paris knows how to celebrate summer with magic, from June 21, on the occasion of the Fête de la Musique, the Olympic cauldron makes a grand return to the Jardin des Tuileries. This celestial sculpture, a luminous balloon raised 60 meters high, reconnects with the spirit of the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, lighting up the city until September 14. Freely accessible, visible from afar, it embodies the momentum of an open, radiant Paris, looking to the future.
June in Paris is the art of the open air. It's the spirit awakening in contact with reality. It's a month that not only promises but delivers. And at the Hôtel de Lille, we will be delighted to guide you, make reservations, and accompany your steps in this capital that, more than ever, breathes with an open heart.
