HERMÈS JUMPING AT THE GRAND PALAIS – EQUESTRIAN EXCELLENCE

, Published on

From March 21 to 23, 2025, under the glass roof of the Grand Palais, the world's best riders and their exceptional mounts return to tread the mythical track of this Parisian gem.

A Place, A Story

The history between the Grand Palais and the equestrian world is embedded in its foundations. Inaugurated on the occasion of the 1900 World's Fair, the building quickly became the stage for high-level competitions, attracting the Parisian elite and equestrian enthusiasts. A bond that has strengthened over the decades, becoming a natural fit for Hermès, a house founded in 1837, initially dedicated to the world of horses and exceptional leather.

In this historic setting, where monumental architecture blends with the natural light of the glass roof, the Saut Hermès offers a rare spectacle, where refinement meets sporting excellence.

The Equestrian Elite in Competition

The Saut Hermès is not limited to a show jumping competition. It embodies a perfect alliance between sport and craftsmanship, bringing together the greatest international riders and young talents under 25 in high-level events.

Each course requires millimetric technicality, where the grace and power of the horse combine with the rider's mastery and precision. Spectacular obstacles, impeccable trajectories, times controlled to the second, each jump is a suspended moment where the complicity between man and animal is sublimated.

Among the flagship events:

  • The Grand Prix Hermès, which crowns the greatest riders on the international circuit.
  • The Prix des Talents Hermès, reserved for young prodigies of the discipline.
  • An exclusive equestrian show, featuring rider-artists in an aerial and poetic choreography.

An Inherited Expertise

Beyond the sport, the Saut Hermès is a tribute to artisanal expertise. The Maison Hermès, which made the horse its first client, showcases all the excellence of its workshops. Visitors can admire the work of saddle-makers, the care given to bridles, harnesses, and saddles, crafted by hand in the purest tradition.

On Avenue Winston Churchill, an outdoor paddock allows observation of the horses in their final moments of preparation. A privileged moment revealing the unique bond between rider and mount in ultimate concentration before entering the arena.

In this atmosphere where performance and elegance become one, the Saut Hermès celebrates the quintessence of the equestrian art.

On foot, horseback, or by bicycle, we are happy to share this great event with you at our hotel.
