Fashions are fleeting, but there are shows that leave an indelible mark in history. The Saint-Laurent show, two weeks after the passing of Pierre Bergé, belongs to this category.
Saint Laurent Show at the Foot of the Eiffel Tower
At Trocadero, the short-clad and high-heeled silhouette of Anthony Vaccarello's new women's collection received the blessing of an illuminated Eiffel Tower. Its artistic director took the reins of the Maison Saint-Laurent last year to bring his vision and youthfulness to it.
Opening of the Saint Laurent Museum
This show is also an opportunity to highlight the inauguration of the Yves Saint-Laurent Museum on October 3 in Paris. A unique venue in the world, it will for the first time permanently exhibit the collections jealously preserved at the Pierre Bergé Foundation. The museum is located in the premises at 5 avenue Marceau, where Yves Saint-Laurent created his iconic pieces and silhouettes for 30 years. 5,000 garments and 15,000 accessories constitute the heritage of the Foundation, which will include the design studio and the former haute couture salons in its tour.
Always associated with beautiful stories, the Hôtel de Lille invited the brand's models for a moment of relaxation in its salons. A way for the hotel to celebrate Fashion Week in its own way.
