And from Saint-Germain-des-Prés—our cherished neighborhood, both cultured and vibrant—Paris has never felt so close, so alive, so animated.
Just a few steps from Hôtel de Lille, everything begins with a light stroll toward the Tuileries. From June 6 to 8, the Rendez-vous aux Jardins invites you into this historic setting, where whispering fountains, hidden sculptures, and breathtaking perspectives await. Far more than a simple garden, the Tuileries becomes, for a few days, a lush and educational stage where children and adults alike share a sense of wonder. Guided tours, outdoor workshops, horticultural anecdotes, and conversations on landscape artistry — everything is here to help you reconnect with the beauty of living things at the very heart of the city.
But in June, Paris doesn’t just bloom — it beats. It bounces, even. From May 19 to June 9, all of Paris pulses to the rhythm of Roland-Garros, and this year, the Concorde district turns into a giant playground for tennis lovers. From June 4 to 9, Tribune Concorde invites you to experience the tournament in a whole new way — free of charge, in the heart of the city. Two giant screens, DJ sets all day long, refined food trucks, a Roland-Garros boutique, and most memorably, the chance to see the champions present their trophies in a breathtaking setting. Picture this: a semi-final at sunset, between the fountains of Concorde and the gilded façades of the Louvre, surrounded by Parisians and visitors from around the world, all swept up in the same electric atmosphere. It’s unique, festive, and undeniably chic.
On June 11, don’t miss the launch of the Carré Rive Gauche. Art, antiques, and design come together in a ballet of open galleries and inspiring encounters. Just steps from the hotel, this event transforms the streets of Saint-Germain into a living gallery. Antique dealers, art galleries, purveyors of rare objects and refined living open their doors to immerse you in excellence. You’ll discover one-of-a-kind pieces, engage with passionate experts, and stroll from storefront to storefront, glass of champagne in hand, carried by the Left Bank spirit. This is a Paris that collects, dreams, and treasures beauty.
And because Paris knows how to welcome summer with a touch of magic, starting June 21 for the Fête de la Musique, the Olympic cauldron returns to the Tuileries Garden. This celestial sculpture—a luminous balloon raised 60 meters into the air—rekindles the spirit of the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, casting its glow over the city through September 14. Free to access and visible from afar, it embodies the momentum of an open, radiant Paris turned toward the future.
June in Paris is the art of the outdoors. It’s the spirit awakening in contact with the real. It’s a month that doesn’t just promise, but delivers. And at Hôtel de Lille, we will be delighted to guide you, to make reservations, and to walk with you through this capital city that, more than ever, breathes with an open heart.
